Fairy cakes, Birthday gifts & Christmas presents

I haven't blogged as much as I usually do, we've been at my mums over Christmas and its been rather busy. We are home now, the Christmas decorations have been taken down and put away, kids bedrooms sorted out to make way for all their new toys and Mr.A's back at work :-(

I've just managed to sit down to write this post, its my birthday today (I'm 24!) and have had a bit of a rubbish day to be honest. Ozzy is poorly and won't let me put him down, he has a viral infection and conjunctivitis, all he keeps doing is whinging and crying.  I also had an appointment about the lump in my neck, antibiotics haven't helped so its going to be removed (I'm going to have more scars on my neck than a bloomin' vampire victim!)

Me and the girls made some fairy cakes today, Lily decided to lick them, nibble a little bit, put it back then start on another. Willow got stressed as her icing set before her decorations went on so they wouldn't stick...oh the joys of having a fussy child! They tasted yummy though, for once I DIDN'T burn them!

Lovingly decorated by the kiddies

My lovely best friend bought me some Minnie Mouse pyjamas from the Disney Store for my birthday. I can't wait to wear them tonight :-)

I've had some Models Own makeup brushes, some new trousers for the gym and some Tinkerbell Pixie Dust perfume (smells AMAZING!) from Mr.A.

The tips are meant to be orange but I took the photo after I'd used them so they are discoloured

I smelt this in the Disney Store before Christmas and fell in love with it. It is sweet but really fresh, only problem is it doesn't last very long.

My dad gave me money for my Birthday which I spent on a coat from H&M, it was in the sale for £17, bargain!
My mum has ordered me some boots from Missguided.co.uk, I will post about them when they arrive :-)

I'm a little late with the Christmas gifts post but here are a few of the things I received...

A lovely scented candle from my mum (she had paid for my Britney Spears ticket as my main birthday present)

My sister bought me these from Forever 21

From my best friend (The Little Mermaid is my favourite film EVER)

Mr.A bought me some Reebok Easytone trainers for the gym. I had these just before Christmas though :-)

My sister bought me this knuckle duster clutch bag, I friggin LOVE it!!!

Skulls <3

I had a few other bits and bobs including some pink Skull Candy headphones and another Alexander McQueen skull scarf (in black and red this time).

I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas and New Year, I'm a little sad its all over but am looking forward to next Christmas already! :-D

30 day Challenge- Day 2, Favourite Bag

I have ALOT of bags but only find myself using about 3 of them. My most used (and most loved) is this leather one from River Island....

I've had this for about 4 years now, my friend bought it for me from a charity shop called New Life. Its a huge shop that gets clothes and accessories donated from stores such as New Look, River Island, Debenhams, etc.. Everything is priced from a couple of quid, there are some right bargains to be had. This bag for example, i think my friend paid about £8 for it and it was selling in River Island for well over £50

This bag has been through the wars, its carried everything from baby bottles to my sweaty gym towel and has been everywhere with me, it is still as good as new. I love the fact you can wear it over your shoulder with the smaller strap or use the long chain strap as an across the body bag.
It has a zip compartment and a place for my phone inside and two zip pockets on the front.

New love- Romwe Online Fashion Store

Whilst browsing some blogs I came cross this fabulous website called Romwe.com. It adds 100s of new items EVERYDAY and ships worldwide. Its affordable, unique and offers free shipping, just what i like! Here are my favourites...

1. I love blouses at the moment, I have a few but nothing in this colour. I love the leopard print!
2. I can imagine wearing this with some shiny leggings and heels with a long necklace or huge earrings. I love oversized jumpers and the colour of this is so pretty.
3. The sparkle on this is so Christmassey! It would look equally as lovely with tights or leggings for in the day or bare legs and heels for a night out.
4. I'm really into skulls at the moment, i don't want to look too "punk rock" and this t-shirt is perfectly girly with that edge that i like :-)
5. Wow... have you ever seen a shoe like this before? And for only £58?! They remind me of the very popular Litas but with a wedge (more comfy!) and leopard print (one of my favourite prints) win win!
6. Skulls + studs + bag = Yes please!!!
7. More leopard print... i just love this simplicity of this bag but yet the leopard print is so wow
8. I love the embellished collared blouses but never seen one i like enough to part my cash with. This detachable collar is perfect for adding something different to an outfit instead of a necklace.

What do you think of my favourite items? Have you heard of/shopped with Rome before?

My DIY Bag

If you saw my shopping spree post yesterday you will know i bought a plain bow clutch bag and wanted to customise it with Swarovski crystals. Well ive done it!
The super glue i was originally going to use didnt work, it just soaked into the fabric of the bag. So instead i used Shoe Goo...

This did the trick!

So my bag went from this...

To this...

Much better don't you think? I think its pretty good for my first attempt. The Shoe Goo is very sticky and strings alot so its quite hard not to get it on the crystals. It should dry clear though so wont be too noticable unless to look very closeup.

It now matches the sparkles on my shoes and the earrings i have bought. Im going to wear them on Saturday night, its my friends birthday and we are all going to Newcastle. Its my first outing since I had Ozzy in July, Im so excited!

Also, Mr.A bought me this jumper the other day but its way to big. Its a 16-18 and im a size 12. So i am selling it on Ebay if anyones interested...
