Fairy cakes, Birthday gifts & Christmas presents

I haven't blogged as much as I usually do, we've been at my mums over Christmas and its been rather busy. We are home now, the Christmas decorations have been taken down and put away, kids bedrooms sorted out to make way for all their new toys and Mr.A's back at work :-(

I've just managed to sit down to write this post, its my birthday today (I'm 24!) and have had a bit of a rubbish day to be honest. Ozzy is poorly and won't let me put him down, he has a viral infection and conjunctivitis, all he keeps doing is whinging and crying.  I also had an appointment about the lump in my neck, antibiotics haven't helped so its going to be removed (I'm going to have more scars on my neck than a bloomin' vampire victim!)

Me and the girls made some fairy cakes today, Lily decided to lick them, nibble a little bit, put it back then start on another. Willow got stressed as her icing set before her decorations went on so they wouldn't stick...oh the joys of having a fussy child! They tasted yummy though, for once I DIDN'T burn them!

Lovingly decorated by the kiddies

My lovely best friend bought me some Minnie Mouse pyjamas from the Disney Store for my birthday. I can't wait to wear them tonight :-)

I've had some Models Own makeup brushes, some new trousers for the gym and some Tinkerbell Pixie Dust perfume (smells AMAZING!) from Mr.A.

The tips are meant to be orange but I took the photo after I'd used them so they are discoloured

I smelt this in the Disney Store before Christmas and fell in love with it. It is sweet but really fresh, only problem is it doesn't last very long.

My dad gave me money for my Birthday which I spent on a coat from H&M, it was in the sale for £17, bargain!
My mum has ordered me some boots from Missguided.co.uk, I will post about them when they arrive :-)

I'm a little late with the Christmas gifts post but here are a few of the things I received...

A lovely scented candle from my mum (she had paid for my Britney Spears ticket as my main birthday present)

My sister bought me these from Forever 21

From my best friend (The Little Mermaid is my favourite film EVER)

Mr.A bought me some Reebok Easytone trainers for the gym. I had these just before Christmas though :-)

My sister bought me this knuckle duster clutch bag, I friggin LOVE it!!!

Skulls <3

I had a few other bits and bobs including some pink Skull Candy headphones and another Alexander McQueen skull scarf (in black and red this time).

I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas and New Year, I'm a little sad its all over but am looking forward to next Christmas already! :-D

30 Day Challenge- Day 12, A colour I like to wear

I'm going to be really boring here and say black (sorry!).
Here's why I love black-

-It is slimming!
-Versatile, goes with every other colour
-Fail safe- black goes with every skin tone and hair colour so you can't clash!
-Popular- you are guaranteed if you choose black there is going to be something suitable in every shop. Go for any other colour and you find 100's of different shades that are hard to match.

Of course I love other colours too, my favourite colour is red. But when it comes to choosing my favourite colour to wear, its got to be black.

What colour do you like to wear/ wear most?

The post with no title :-)

I couldn't think of a title for today...although i guess it kinda does have a title now! I had my second therapy session today, its great to talk about past and things that bother me, makes me feel so much better. The lady I talk to explained alot of why i feel the way i do and it made so much sense. Made me feel pretty normal lol. I came away feeling more positive. My "homework" this week is to write my feelings down about how i feel before i have to be in social situations (like going to the shop alone) sounds silly but sometimes my anxiety makes this simple task a big effort for me unless Im with my husband or kids. We popped to B&M on the way back for some more Maxitone shakes, got banana flavour this time, its much nicer than strawberry! Thought I'd show you all what i wore today, along with my makeup and nails...

Top, F&F at Tesco £6 but in the sale for £3 now! Leggings from Peacocks £10. Scarf £3 from a market. Long cross necklace £6 from ASOS.com. Boots Firetrap from TK Maxx £40.

Love my boots!

Face- Bourjois healthy mix foundation
Collection 2000 powder
GOSH bronzer
Beauty UK blusher in candy shop
Eyebrows- HD brow palette.
Eyes- Rimmel liquid eyeliner

On my nails im wearing 3 coats of Models Own Juicy Jules. I love how sparkly this is, when the light catches it it almost look rainbow.

Tomorrow I'm off to the hairdressers and want something different... Im thinking about going shorter and having this...

Will post a pic tomorrow if im brave enough to get it done!
