My new onesie and Topshop dress

I've wanted a light weight onesie for ages and had spotted one in Topshop, but at £34 I just couldn't justify spending that much on 'lounge wear'. When I came across this leopard print one in New Look for only £15 I jumped for joy.
I also bought this coral dress from Topshop for £34. I'd seen these style dresses on In Love With Fashion .com and liked the petrol coloured one. I didn't order one though as I wasn't sure if the style would suit me. When I saw this dress I had to try it on and it looked bloody lovely! Will do an outfit post featuring it at the end of the week. I also bought a maroon coloured peplum top from Topshop but it looks naff photographed on the hanger. Will show you when I get round to wearing it.

New Look coral wedges

Another post from my mobile today. I bought these for £24.99 from the wide feet selection. They are so comfy! I wore them on a family day out to the lake and during the evening and my feet didn't hurt at all. They are surprisingly easy to walk in too.

Shopping trip & OOTD

I decided to take Lily and Ozzy into town today, here's what I bought...

T-shirt nighty- Primark £5

T-shirt nighty- Primark £5

I bought these two t-shirt nightys as they are light and I love the bright colours. I hate being hot at night but can't sleep naked, or even just in my underwear. So these are perfect :-)

T-shirt skater dress- Primark £8

I had seen Lily from LLYMLRS wearing the topshop version of this, then she blogged about Primarks for less than half the price, bargain!

Pumps- New Look £7.99

I always like to have a pair of pumps for the spring/summer time. I usually go for the lace up style ones but these looked so pretty. You can't see in the photo but they have tiny gold/silvery threads running through them. Love the subtle sparkle!

The rest of my money was spent on the children. I could have easily bought more for myself though, there was some lovely wedges in Primark and tons of items in New Look and Topshop I wanted to buy. Mr.A gets paid tomorrow, I might make him treat me (again!) Haha.

Here's what I wore for my little shopping trip...

Earrings- Dorothy Perkins last year

Dress- As yesterdays outfit post.
Kimono thing (?!)- Primark last year

Diamante sandals- Claires Accessories last year.
I didnt want to take a picture of my feet in these, feet are ugly and I wouldn't want anyone puking over their keyboard.

Yes I know, all the things I am wearing are over a year old!

I think I'm going to go sit in the garden now and make the most of the sunshine :-)
Toodles!

OOTD

My lovely sister bought me some fab leggings for my birthday. I have been after some leopard print ones for awhile now but always find the print on them too "in your face" and tacky looking. These ones from New Look are exactly what I'd been looking for, I love 'em!

Excuse the feet (I should have cropped them off really...)
I bought this blouse ages ago from Primark, I have it in a beige colour too. I love oversized shirts, they're pretty and come in handy when your having a fat day!

Closeup of my leggings

I bought this from Burton Menswear in the sale for about £2... I wasn't sure if it was a little too "bling" for my liking but I think it looks ok with no other jewellery.

Animal print leggings available here for £14.99

Oh, nearly forgot to mention I have another appointment booked for a cosmetic surgery consultation on Monday 30th January, I will definitely be going to this one!

30 Day Challenge- Day 10, Current fashion/style I like

I really love the glitter/sequin trend at the moment. Its so Christmassey and great for all the parties. Glitter is fabulous any time of year but the best sparkly items come out during the winter season, I just love it!

What trend are you loving at the moment?

The original title of this post was "Im selling my cr*p" but didn't think that was entirely appropriate. I decided to have a clear out earlier and try make some extra pennies before Christmas.

Rant... New Look and families

Im annoyed!

I ordered some 'mock suspender tights' from New Look on Sunday afternoon and chose next day delivery. I still haven't had my order! I emailed them on Monday night and havent had a reply yet. Disgraceful! I have just come off the phone to them (i was on hold for ten minutes) and apparantly they tried to deliver on Tuesday and couldnt find the house! I had no phonecall from them to tell me there was a problem or anything! So if i hadnt called i would never have gotten my tights. And tuesday?! Excuse me? I ordered on SUNDAY, next day delivery, that would make it a Monday they should be delivered, not bloomin Tuesday! The man on the phone was very apologetic and has refunded me my postage. He assured me my order would be here tomorrow, we shall see!

I havent mentioned this next topic before but i will explain briefly the situation between me and my husbands family...
We do not get on. I have never liked my husbands step dad, i find him sexist, rude, chauvanistic and a bully. We have had numerous arguments in the past over him caling me fat and being a general ar$e to me. Gradually things escalated to the point where his stepdad sent a private message to my husband slagging me off, making out im a liar, trying to convince him to leave me. Eventually things settled down and i tolerated this horrible mans behaviour for the sake of my husband. Until recently that is... He has made it quite obvious he doesnt like my eldest daughter (who is not my husbands, shes from a previous relationship). My youngest daughter is favourtised immensley by them and it hurts me so much. A few months ago my father in law offered my girls two smurf toys, he handed one to my youngest lily then threw willows toy behind him, on the floor and said 'theres yours' in a nasty tone. I was understandably shocked but didnt say anything at the time as i didnt want to cause a scene. It played on my mind however, so i sent a civilised text to my mother inlaw telling her how it made me feel. To cut a long story short (i can feel myself waffling here, sorry) my father inlaw caused a huge arguement, bad things were said, terrible lies were told (by him not me) and it all went totally OTT. We havent spoken since. My husband has had arguments with them over the phone but nothing has been resolved. Everyone on my father inlaws family think what he did was perfectly fine. I am still fuming now. How is it ok to treat a 6 year old like a dog?
A week after this had all happened my father inlaw recieved a threatening text from a number he doesnt know. It wasnt from me but i have got the blame. Hes going around telling everyone it is me. I only found this out yesterday. My husband spoke to his mum in private and she basically tried to convince him it was me and that all that had happened was my fault. I was so mad, how dare she try and turn my husband against me!

I am sick to death of his family and cant wait to see the back of them. One thing i cant stand is lies.

Sorry for the long rant, needed to get it off my chest.

New look tops

Been as im trying to lose the baby weight ive decided not to spend loads of money on clothes. Im at the awkward stage where half my clothes are too big and the others from before i was pregnant are too small. So annoying! I decided to have a mooch in New Look at the weekend and fell in love with these two tops. Mr. A treated me to them :) im hoping because they are loose fitting that they will still be wearable when ive lost the weight.

£22.99

£29.99

A closeup of the pretty detail-

Have you recently purchased anything from New Look?
