River Island sale purchases

I got up extra early to grab some bargains from River Island today. I was a little disappointed though, there wasn't anything particularly amazing. I did come home with two lovely things though...
Dress reduced from £40 to £15.
Jumper reduced from £32 to £15.

My new onesie and Topshop dress

I've wanted a light weight onesie for ages and had spotted one in Topshop, but at £34 I just couldn't justify spending that much on 'lounge wear'. When I came across this leopard print one in New Look for only £15 I jumped for joy.
I also bought this coral dress from Topshop for £34. I'd seen these style dresses on In Love With Fashion .com and liked the petrol coloured one. I didn't order one though as I wasn't sure if the style would suit me. When I saw this dress I had to try it on and it looked bloody lovely! Will do an outfit post featuring it at the end of the week. I also bought a maroon coloured peplum top from Topshop but it looks naff photographed on the hanger. Will show you when I get round to wearing it.

Selling my Fearne Cotton dress

I've decided to sell the swing dress I posted about a few months ago. It's a gorgeous dress but I just don't wear it so it's gathering dust in my wardrobe. I have only worn it once so it's in excellent condition.

Shopping trip & OOTD

I decided to take Lily and Ozzy into town today, here's what I bought...

I bought these two t-shirt nightys as they are light and I love the bright colours. I hate being hot at night but can't sleep naked, or even just in my underwear. So these are perfect :-)

T-shirt skater dress- Primark £8

I had seen Lily from LLYMLRS wearing the topshop version of this, then she blogged about Primarks for less than half the price, bargain!

Pumps- New Look £7.99

I always like to have a pair of pumps for the spring/summer time. I usually go for the lace up style ones but these looked so pretty. You can't see in the photo but they have tiny gold/silvery threads running through them. Love the subtle sparkle!

The rest of my money was spent on the children. I could have easily bought more for myself though, there was some lovely wedges in Primark and tons of items in New Look and Topshop I wanted to buy. Mr.A gets paid tomorrow, I might make him treat me (again!) Haha.

I didnt want to take a picture of my feet in these, feet are ugly and I wouldn't want anyone puking over their keyboard.

Yes I know, all the things I am wearing are over a year old!

I think I'm going to go sit in the garden now and make the most of the sunshine :-)

OOTD- Summer dress and alternatives

I bought this dress about 3 years ago from New Look. It is perfect for the summer as it is so light and thin, the crochet shoulder detail is so pretty.

Before I got this particular dress I had a very similar one with plain sleeves from Dorothy Perkins. Unfortunately I got a stain on it which wouldn't budge so I went on the hunt for a new on, hence buying this one from New Look

The only problem with this dress, as you can probably see in the photo, is it shows your pants. Admittedly I am wearing big black granny pants, not the best lingerie to sport when wearing such a thin light dress... but I shall be changing my underwear when I leave the house..or maybe not...its good to turns heads every now and again, no?

I have now spotted two other dresses very similar...

This is exactly like my beloved stained dress! I chose my 4 favourite colours to show you but on the website there is also, yellow, black, navy and grey. At only £7.99 its a bargain!

I have just ordered this in blue, for only £5.12 and free postage it would be rude not to!

It'd be great thrown over a bikini like in the photos, or with a bandeau top underneath, skinny belt and sandals :-)

OOTD- Fearne Cotton dress

I decided to open up an account with Very to try and get my credit score up, what a mistake... I have seen so many things I want and its really hard not to just buy them. I hate that credit/store cards make me feel like I'm getting something for free (am I the only person that feels like this?). Anyway, I DID give into this jersey swing dress from the Fearne Cotton range... I told myself it would be a good purchase as it can be worn with bare legs and heels for a night out, or tight/leggings for in the day, like today!

I just saw this posted on Facebook, WOW! I am in love! What beautiful colours this dress comes in. So perfect for spring/summer. I absolutely love the style and cut of this dress, I wish I could afford to get it in every colour. If you aren't a fan of wearing brights they have the Zilla dress in darker colours too.

Mac creme cup & Reverse dress

I ordered a dress from ASOS the other day as I am going to London in February for a friends birthday. I was worried I might not like the fit of the dress (I'm always dubious about buying dresses online) but it fits perfectly and I really love it. 

I also ordered my first ever Mac lipstick (I know, shocking!) I went for creme cup and so glad I did. It's such a lovely pink shade (smells amazing too). I'm definitely going to buy more Mac lippys.

I originally wanted the black dress but they don't have my size, booo!

Shown here applied over a lip balm as my lips are really dry at the moment. But the lipstick alone is very moisturising and smells like vanilla, mmm.

New purchases

I actually bought the leggings and dress a few weeks ago now but only just decided to show you. The make-up was purchased from Morrison's yesterday, i always have a peek at the make-up section when we go food shopping.

Burgundy Asymmetric Chiffon Dress, £25 from Desireclothing.co.uk

I bought a Collection 2000 cream puff lip cream before in a different colour and liked it so much i decided to get another, this time in "Powder Puff", £2.99.

Collection 2000 Extreme 24 hour felt tip eye liner in purple, £2.99 (i think!)

The tip is sturdy and has a nice point to it. I found it very easy to apply and get a good flick. I will definitely purchase this in the other colours available.

Left- Cream puff. Right- Felt tip liner.

"Powder Puff" on my lips. This particular shade showed up the dryness of my lips quite badly even with a lip balm underneath. I had to exfoliate and moisturise like a crazy woman, then apply.
