The best natural looking tan EVER!

Awhile back I won a set of tanning products from the Bronze Ambition range. It has taken me months to get round to trying out their "natural look tanning cream" as I like to use up what I already have first.

I absolutely LOVE this tanning cream. It beats my Fake Bake, Laurens Way and St Moriz hands down.

I was a little dubious when applying as it is completely colourless so you cant see where you are rubbing it in. It had a lovely smell, like coconut..it made me want to eat it!

I applied it before bed using a mitt and when I woke up in the morning (with clean sheets!) I had a lovely, even, golden tan. I was so impressed! It had even taken to my shins, which most fake tans don't. 

I applied a second layer the following night as I like my tans to be quite dark, and again the next morning I woke up lovely and golden. What makes this cream even more amazing is its lasting power. I have found a lot of fake tans don't last very long on my skin, after a few days they have faded. This one stayed put for over a week!

I have already used up the 100ml bottle so purchased the 150ml size (shown above).

For £2.99 this is an absolute bargain!

If you like your really dark, obviously fake looking tans then this cream isn't for you, but if you want a golden, natural looking glow then go buy some right NOW!

Bronze Ambition Glow "N" Go Instant Tan Shimmer + FOTD

Here is another item i won in the Bronze Ambition giveaway.

So far I have been pleased with the self tan mousse but un-impressed with the instant spray tan.

From the photos above you can see that after applying the instant tan there is visible difference to the colour of my skin.

I applied it using a tanning mitt and it blended in well.

The shimmer is VERY subtle, you have to look super close to see it.

The photo above is after one layer and it gives a very light golden colour to the skin. I wouldn't recommend this is you're after something to make you look really dark. It 's just right for during the day when you need to add a bit of colour.

I have used it on the top half of my body, excluding my face. I've found it works well when using it to blend my neck and face (my foundation is too dark for my body at the moment because my fake tan has faded, i am once again pale, booo!)

It says it "rubs on and washes off" and it did just that. I wasn't left with orange hands or patchy areas.

I probably wouldn't buy this product in the future but that's not because i dislike it (i don't) its because i prefer to use Rimmels instant tan as it gives a darker result.

Today I decided to go for a smoky brown look.

Eyes- I used Rimmel 8hr Mousse Eyeshadow in Mocha, along with their black liquid eyeliner.

I lined my waterline with Rimmels kohl eyeliner in black then used Bourjois little round pot eyeshadow in no.1 to highlight. Mascara, my usual Dior in black.

Face- Bourjois healthy mix foundation, GOSH bronzer, VIVO blusher in sugar candy shade 2.

Lips- nothing today except abit of vasleline

Eyebrows- HD brow palette.

Bronze Ambition Bronze Me Mousse

I applied the Bronze Me Mousse last night before bed. It is an instant  + self tan which means it is brown on application then develops over time. You then wash the guide colour off to get the true results. After being dissapointed by Bronze Ambitions instant spray tan yesterday i had high hopes for the mousse.

I applied the mousse with my trusty tanning mitt. I've got to say it goes on really well and smells amazing, reminds me of Malibu, mmmm!

It was easy to blend in and didn't get caught up in my rough patches (knees, elbows and my strange big toe which always goes hideously dark with fake tan, haha)

The instant colour was pretty dark so when i woke up this morning i looked like i'd be down a coal mine!

My face was the worst, but i find it always looks silly once tan has developed with any product i use.

I jumped in the shower to wash off the guide colour and am very pleased with the results :-)

As you can see there is an obvious difference. It is a nice golden colour, not orange like some of the cheaper fake tans. It has gone slightly darker around my knees and elbows but that was expected. My strange toe on the other hand hasn't! 

Apart from the colour another important part of fake tan is the smell. I really dislike the biscuit/beefy smell it can give off. I'm happy to say that Bronze Ambition has none of that! It smelt a bit beefy whilst the colour was developing but since washing it off there is no smell what so ever :-)

I will definitely purchase this self tan mousse again, for £3.99 it has given me a lovely golden colour and the smell reminded me off my honeymoon in Ibiza (and thats always a good thing!). I'm not sure if it will replace my usual Laurens Way tanning lotion, that depends on how long it lasts and what the fading results are. I find Laurens Way lasts a long time and you don't get that horrid patchiness.

Bronze Ambition Sun Kissed Mist Featuring Mr.A

Mr.A prepared a lovely bath for me this evening complete with music and candles :-) Bless him!

After my bath i decided to try out something from the Bronze Ambition tanning range that I won in a giveaway. I have applied the mousse and shall wash it off tomorrow morning, then do a post on it :-) I've got to say its impressed me so far!

Mr.A came into the bedroom to tan my back for me, then started messing around with all my tanning stuff. I thought this was a great opportunity to test out the "Instant Spray Tan". 

The instructions say to shake the can then spray evenly over the body. Apparantly there is no need to rub in and it dries instantly, hmmm... I beg to differ. 

Here are the results...

Please ignore the ridiculous tattoo, he stupidly allowed someone who can't tattoo to save his life to ink him a few years ago.

As you can see there is an obvious difference in the colour of his skin. The only trouble is, this applies horrendously. Its meant to be streak free but all it did was streak! I thought maybe i was doing something wrong so Mr.A decided to have a go but had the same disappointing results.The lighting in my house is poor so the pictures aren't that great but i was able to get a photo of the streaking that happens...

This streaking happens more on the arms and legs quite badly. There's no way I could use this without rubbing it in. Luckily it washes off straight away with soap and water.

I'm rather dissapointed in this particular product from the Bronze Ambition range, the only positive thing about it is the smell, it reminds me of a summery cocktail! 

I still have high hopes for the self tan mousse that is currently developing on my body :-)

New dress, NOTD and green tan!

Hello little dragons, today ive decided to show you a dress i ordered from ASOS.com, it arrived this morning and i love it! Im thinking i can wear it with big earrings and heels for a night out or with flat boots and a biker jacket for in the day.

Its such a lovely material, really light and floaty, feels quite silky too. Im wearing it here with platform boots that i got from topshop last year.

I re-did my nails last night....

I used Collection 2000s Damson Jam and Ruby Sparkle by Accessorize...Perfect for the Christmas Party season i think!

Onto the fake tan disaster So last night after having a shower, i sprayed my deodrant then proceeded to apply my fake tan (by Laurens Way). I did half my body then accidently wiped my freshly sprayed armpit with the tanning mitt. Because i tan regularly i dont use a mirror. Wish i had this time though. I continued to fake tan, then noticed my right arm looked slightly green. I looked in the mirror and saw that all the parts id tanned after accidently wiping my armpit had gone green. I looked ill! My husband came upstairs and just laughed at me. Luckily when i washed it off this morning i was a lovely golden colour, not green. Thank goodness! Note to self... DO NOT apply deodrant before tanning in the future!
