New Purchases

Helllllloooo! I'm back! Had a very eventful weekend in London with the girls! I'm going to post about it when I have more time, Ozzy is being a clingy whingebag at the mo, he won't let me put him down.
These are a few bits I bought on Friday (except the OPI nail polish, my friend gave it to me).

From left, clockwise- Sally Hansen airbrush legs, Muppets OPI polish in Divine Swine, Soap and Glory "Show good face" foundation, Barry M lipliner in red, Barry M kohl eyeliner in white, Barry M lipgloss in red,  feather necklace from Topshop (reduced from £16.50 to £1.50! Bargain!)

Closeup of Divine Swine, can't wait to try this.

I love this foundation! I usually use Bourjois Healthy Mix but this looked interesting as it is also a primer. I am so glad I bought this! It had a dewy finish without being greasy, medium coverage and lasted all day. My new fave :-)

Left to right- Barry M lipliner, eye liner and lipgloss.

The lipgloss came free from Boots as I spent £6 on Barry M products.  It is a lovely vibrant red but unfortunately bled around my mouth and I looked rather silly! I actually bought a nail varnish too but I am at my mums and forgot to bring it with me.
The airbrush legs is one of my favourite products for a night out. It covers all blemishes, evens out your skin tone and comes in a range of shades. My legs are covered in bruises at the moment, they just keep randomly appearing!

Do you use any of these products?

30 Day Challenge- Day 10, Current fashion/style I like

I really love the glitter/sequin trend at the moment. Its so Christmassey and great for all the parties. Glitter is fabulous any time of year but the best sparkly items come out during the winter season, I just love it!

What trend are you loving at the moment?

Me today & a Matalan dress bargain!

Today i have gone for comfort, im feeling sorry for myself as we had to go to Tesco for our weekly food shop. I hate spending money on food when theres so many fabulous clothes and shoes out at the moment! Cant have the family starving though can we?! I am now sitting on my bed with the ipad with my dog Charlie looking at me. Think hes wanting a walk. Its nice to escape the mad house for awhile!

FOTD

Face- Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation, VIVO baked bronzer in Bronzed shade 2, VIVO blush and highlighter duo in Sugar Candy shade 2.
Eyes- Rimmel liquid eyeliner in black, Dior mascara in black, the highlighter part from the VIVO blush above,
Eyebrows- HD brow palette.
Lips- Barry M lipstick in shade 62 with Bourjois Docteur Glamour lipstick in 17 Rose requinque.

I ordered a top from River Island the other day, it was the grey one with a black bow that i posted about in the week. Well it arrived yesterday and didnt look good on me so i took it back to the store and exchanged it for this New York City tshirt, i love the rolled sleeves on it.

This is my favourite cardigan EVER. I bought it from Matalan in two sizes too big so its nice and snuggly. I love the dusky pink colour of it :-)

New York City tshirt, River Island, £15.
Rib Mohair Boyfriend Cardigan in Deep Rosewood, Matalan, £16.

How are you spending your Sunday?

Now onto the Matalan bargain. I went into town yesterday and had a look in Quiz. I found this stunning dress for £49.99. Its perfect for the Christmas Party season. I wanted to buy it so bad, but couldnt afford too :-( boooo!

When i get home my sister texts me, shes bought a new dress. A long sleeved, all over sequinned one. Nooooo! Shes bought MY dress?! But then she said it was from Matalan for £25! Thats half of what i was willing to pay in Quiz. I decided to check it out for myself, surely it wouldnt be as good quality? But it is, its gorgeous! The only difference is (apart from the colour obviously) is that the Quiz dress has rectangle sequins and the Matalan dress sequins are rounded. But they both give off the same amazing sparkly effect. I actually prefer the blue, its a nice alternative to black.

Which do you prefer?

Inspired by Frankie

I posted yesterday i was thinking about copying Frankie Sandfords look in this photo-

Well i gave it ago earlier today (minus the fake lashes). I didnt take the photo with a straight on pose, it doesnt suit me (we all have our favourite angles when being photographed dont we? Straight on isnt one of mine!)

Same picture here but i decided to mess around with the effects on my ipad-

It looks darker in real life, dont know why its come out lighter.

Heres what i used-

Face- Bourjois healthy mix foundation
Collection 2000 powder
GOSH bronzer
Mac dainty blush
Eyes- Dior mascara in black
Rimmel liquid eyeliner in black
Dior eye pencil in black
Front cover eyeshadows (left to right) See the stars, frosted almond, twinkling gold, twinkling grape
Eyebrows- HD brows
Lips- Rimmel lasting finish lipstick in pink blush
Barry M lipgloss in Bubblegum pink

I know i am nothing compared to Frankie but she is so beautiful and the picture above is one of my favourites of her. Im abit gutted shes gone back to her original hairstyle, i really love the pixie crop on her.
What do you think?
