BM Beauty mineral bronzer in Summer Warmth

I had a sample of this bronzer in my Glossybox a few months ago. I've never been a big fan of loose powders as I find them messy and hard to work with. However, as soon as I used this little pot of wonder I totally changed my mind and have used it until it was time to buy in full size.

For £8 you get 4g of product which doesn't seem much but believe me it is all you need. A little goes a long way.

I love how versatile this little pot of powder is. I use a small amount all over my face after I have applied my foundation, it gives a hint of colour and a gorgeous glow. I then use it underneath my blusher for an extra colour of warmth. You could also apply it to the eyelids, or even add a little to vaseline and use on the lips for a dash of shimmer.

Apologies for the rubbish camera work, my iPhone just wouldn't pick up the lovely glow to my skin. I can assure you it is 100% there though! Since wearing this bronzer so many people have commented on my skin. Even after my operation 3 weeks ago when my skin was dull, after applying this my friend commented how healthy my face looked.

What I also love about this BM Beauty bronzer is the face it is 100% pure minerals, so theres no nasties going onto your skin. Massive thumbs up from me, I hate the idea of my skin being caked in un-natural ingredients.

BM Beauty mineral bronzer in Summer Warmth is available for £8 on www.bmbeauty.com alongside lots of other lovely mineral products.

Have you tried anything from BM Beauty before?

Glossybox April 2012

I have been receiving my monthly Glossybox for awhile now but never really felt the need to blog about it as there are hundreds of posts flying around. This month however, I am so happy with what I got that I wanted to share :-)

This month has a natural/organic theme, with all the products being either or.

From left, clockwise- Ayuuri body wash in Rose- full size, Yes! Nurse intensive moisturizing hand formula- full size, Figs & Rouge cherry and vanilla 100% organic lip balm- full size, Inika organic lip liner in shade 01 Safari- full size, Caudalie S.O.S thirst quenching serum.

4 out of 5 full size products! I am impressed!

My first impressions-

Ayuuri body wash- Enriched with Indian Rose, Jasmine and Aloe Vera. Only had a sniff of this and oh my! It smells amazing, so fresh and summery. I can't wait to shower with this later.

Yes! Nurse hand cream- With active Manuka honey +15 and Omega 3, 6 and 9. There's something about the packaging of this product that I really love, not sure what exactly but I was really drawn to it. I've had a quick rub into my hands and the first thing I noticed was its pleasant smell, fresh but subtle. My hands feel very soft but slightly greasy. Will see how long the softness lasts until my hands are a scaly mess again!

Figs & Rouge lip balm- 100% organic. Another fabulously packaged product! I have just applied this to my lips and its gorgeous. Lovely smell, great texture and my lips are as soft as my baby's little bum cheeks. Massive thumbs up!

Inika lip liner- Certified organic. Never heard of this brand before but first impressions are that it is higher end beauty. Sleek and simple packaging, and lovely matte effect pencil. The liner itself has great pigmentation and this particular shade (01 Safari) will work well with my nude lipsticks.

Caudalie serum- I cant really tell whats in/ whats not in this product as its all in French, hmmm. There is a little bit on the back that says there is 0% parabens, phtalates and a whole other list of strangely named ingredients. So I'm guessing it all contains good stuff. I put a small amount on my face and it rubbed in well, my skin feels soft and none greasy. Other serums I have tried have given me spots so I'm hoping this one won't!

Are you happy with Aprils Glossybox?

NOTD- Razzle Dazzle Jam!

I don't usually post about what I receive in my Glossybox but this has been my favourite product so far, I absolutely love it! As soon as I opened my box yesterday and after squealing with excitement, I HAD to try the nail polish I received- Deborah Lippmans' Razzle Dazzle. I decided to pair it with Collection 2000's Damson Jam.

How beautiful is this?!

Eurgh, I hate that my nails are so short. They have become so weak and thin!

I used one coat of Damson Jam and two coats of Razzle Dazzle.

I'm really tempted to buy some more glitter polishes by Deborah Lippman, I've seen a few I like the look of already.

30 Day Challenge- Day 14, Photo of a hairstyle/haircut I'd like to have

I wasn't sure how to answer this one as I have the hairstyle I want. So instead I'm going to show you a picture of a celebrities hair who I love...

Cheryl Cole

I know her hair is totally different now but I absolutely loved it when her hair was like this. I've always been a massive fan of red hair and have dyed it numerous shades of red since I was a young teen. If I was to grow my hair and go for a longer style I would definitely want this.

Who's hair do you admire?

I've been waiting for the postman to bring my Glossybox since Tuesday and it finally arrived today! I am so pleased with it, the Deborah Lippman nail varnish is so pretty and the smell of the Rituals shower gel is amazing! I received a sample size anti wrinkle cream, don't think I shall be using it so I've decided to give it my mum for Christmas (along with other presents of course, I'm not that stingey!) I'm not going to post photos of my Glossybox items as there as so many posts already flying around the blogging world and I'm sure you have seen lots already.

Lick my Leopard

Strange name for a title I know but there is a reason behind it. My husband loves smooth shiny nails, whenever i have painted them he likes to test their smoothness by licking them (yes he is a strange man). This time however, i haven't used nail polish but nail wraps instead. I received them in this months Glossybox and was thrilled that they were leopard print ones. I did them last night...

Aren't they fab?
They were fairly easy to apply, it was my first time using them so it took me quite a while to do the first hand but once id got the hang of it they applied much quicker.
It says on the instructions to take the shine off your nail then apply the nail wrap (which is just like a sticker). You are then meant to fold the edges over the tip of your nail but i just couldn't do it, it wasn't sticking over the edge no matter what. So i missed that step and just filed the edges off. Two of my nails had to be re-done as the edges were tatty and weren't sticking too well (probably because i had fiddled with them quite abit).
I dont think they are going to last very long on me, i do alot of cleaning and washing up everyday. I've noticed this morning that one of the nail wraps has started to lift at the tip slightly, I just know im going to end up messing with it.
I don't know if i would buy these in the future, i think £6.65 is a little steep for something you can only use once. If there was a special occasion however i might change my mind, as im not skilled enough to re-create this kind of effect myself.

Here are some of the other designs available...

I love the larger leopard print ones.

Whilst on the website i noticed they also do Eye rocks! I LOVE them! Im definately going to get some for the Christmas party season...

My favourite is the 3rd one, Glimmer AB (how fab would these look with my Louboutins?!)

Nail rocks are available here from around £6.00
Eye Rocks can be bought here from around £20.00

Have you tried any of these yet? What about the Lip Rocks they also do?
